{"id":14907,"date":"2025-11-27T16:26:36","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T08:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=14907"},"modified":"2025-11-27T16:26:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T08:26:36","slug":"4-taken-to-hospital-after-multi-vehicle-accident-on-sle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=14907","title":{"rendered":"4 taken to hospital after multi-vehicle accident on SLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 <!-- -->Four people were taken to hospital after an accident on the SLE that involved a car, a motorcycle and a taxi, on Nov 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The accident happened in the direction towards BKE before the Lentor Avenue exit, with the police alerted at about 1.20pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A <!-- -->70-year-old male taxi driver, a 43-year-old male motorcyclist, a 36-year-old male car passenger and a 17-year-old male taxi passenger<!-- --> were conscious when taken to the<!-- --> <!-- -->Khoo Teck Puat Hospital<!-- --> <!-- -->by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In videos of the aftermath of the accident uploaded online, a motorcycle and a car can be seen crashed into a road divider on the rightmost lane of the expressway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The left rear wheel of the car is dislodged, with debris strewn across three lanes, which have been cordoned off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Road accidents and fatalities are on the rise, according <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/courts-crime\/more-road-accidents-and-fatalities-in-first-9-months-of-2025-sim-ann?ref=inline-article&amp;ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">to the latest traffic figures<\/p>\n<p><\/a>.
