It\u2019s Mina G\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcer<\/span>\u2019s first Christmas as head chef at Belon. The Turkish-German chef took the reins of the Michelin-starred French restaurant earlier this year and has wasted no time showing her skill in crafting original dishes<\/span> that combine classic French techniques with subtle nods to her Mediterranean roots.<\/div>\n

For Christmas Day and Boxing Day, G\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcer has created several special \u00e0 la carte dishes, including a salade demi-deuille with black winter truffle (HK$388) and a Mont Blanc (HK$198). However, the star of the show is undoubtedly her roast Christmas goose with red cabbage and quatre-\u00e9pices (HK$628).<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Germany, goose on Christmas Eve is almost expected, and it\u2019s a flavour that immediately brings me home,\u201d G\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcer tells us. \u201cWhat excites me is taking something Hong Kong already loves and shaping it with my own traditions.\u201d<\/p>\n
