Grand Theft Auto 6 <\/em><\/strong>players are using Watch Dogs 2 <\/em>as an example of how developer Rockstar Games can upgrade the series’ first-person camera with a more immersive feature. The Watch Dogs <\/em>series was Ubisoft’s answer to Grand Theft Auto<\/em>, and although it may not have found the same global recognition as Rockstar’s record-breaking franchise, fans are now calling for one of Ubisoft’s better-implemented elements to be added into Grand Theft Auto 6<\/em>.<\/p>\n

There might be two trailers for Grand Theft Auto 6<\/em>, but specific gameplay details and features still remain very much a mystery. Fans have often used trailer footage and screenshots to speculate on what Rockstar could be cooking up behind the scenes, but there haven’t been any official reveals outside of character and location information. Some have even gone as far as to theorize that GTA 6<\/em> will have a house renovation element, as eagle-eyed fans noticed that Jason’s house seemingly changes over the course of the game’s second trailer. Other theories even point to a possible mobile radio station in the game, but there is one specific thing the community would like to see.<\/p>\n

\n GTA 6 Fans Want More First-Person Camera Shake

In 2014, just one year after its release, Rockstar Games brought Grand Theft Auto 5 <\/em>to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, introducing plenty of new features and improvements, including a new first-person camera option. While the series has long been known as a third-person action-adventure game, Rockstar took things to another level by allowing players to switch between first and third-person with the press of a button. Although unconfirmed, it’s a given that this will likely still be an option in Grand Theft Auto 6<\/em>, but fans are now asking for the studio to make some slight adjustments. Specifically, users appear to want more camera wobble instead of a static first-person view, similar to Watch Dogs 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The post has accumulated nearly 1,500 upvotes at the time of writing, but not everybody is sold on the idea. Although Watch Dogs 2<\/em> is similar to Grand Theft Auto 5<\/em>, it doesn’t actually have a dedicated first-person camera mode. The video shown in the post above shows a player using the in-game phone camera to replicate the feature, which some rightly point out is the reason for the camera wobble. “The camera shake is there because this is the pov of a camera being held. The first-person camera is a pov of a character’s eyes, your head doesn’t shake like a phone in someone’s hand, so neither should the first-person view,” one user said. But others quickly chimed in to say there should be “some camera wobble” as a static camera feels “off.”<\/p>\n

Rockstar is expected to upgrade plenty of features from Grand Theft Auto 5 <\/em>for the next installment, but it’s likely going to be quite some time before we get a good look at what the game has to offer. Although it was initially due to launch in Fall 2025, Rockstar Games has now delayed Grand Theft Auto 6 <\/em>multiple times. The first setback pushed its release date to May 26, 2026, which was to be expected, given the studio’s track record. But then the community was left incredibly disappointed when Rockstar announced that GTA 6 <\/em>will now launch on November 19, 2026.<\/p>\n
