A disagreement over a $50 additional fee escalated into a heated online exchange after a cat owner gave a grooming salon a one-star review.<\/p>\n
Stomper Anonymous<\/b><\/span> told Stomp she booked an appointment to get her cat a lion cut for $88 at Furries Inc in Clementi on Nov 21 at 9am.<\/p>\n She paid the extra $50 to the salon after she was told that her cat Gemok was ‘fierce’ and difficult to handle during grooming.<\/p>\n However, she said she asked for video proof because she wanted to understand why the surcharge was applied.<\/p>\n “I don’t mind paying extra, but I just needed a clear video showing my cat being fierce,” she said. “After seeing the video, I don’t see anything fierce.”<\/p>\n She added that while the groomers said Gemok scratched and bit them, she does not believe the footage shows such behaviour.<\/p>\n
