It is a design she has drawn countless times.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cI have been painting porcelain for more than 40 years \u2013 it is my life,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">The craft is in her blood. Tso\u2019s family runs Yuet Tung China Works in Hong Kong\u2019s Kowloon Bay district. It was the first <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">porcelain<\/span> factory in Hong Kong, and it is the only one that remains in the city.<\/div>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">Established in 1928 by her grandfather Tsao Lui-chung, Yuet Tung China Works \u2013 previously known as Kam Wah Loong \u2013 specialises in <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">guangcai<\/em>, a <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">Qing-dynasty<\/span>-era technique originating from Guangzhou, a sprawling port city in southern China\u2019s Guangdong province.<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Located on the third floor of the Kowloon Industrial Centre in Kowloon Bay, the factory\u2019s sprawling showroom \u2013 which encompasses four shops \u2013 features floor-to-ceiling shelves stacked with plates, bowls, tea sets and vases, many of which are adorned with traditional motifs such as flowers, dragons, phoenixes and carp.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-inline-container e1a5rv550 css-1llrc1m e1yqhwb40\" data-qa=\"Component-renderMap-StyledDiv\">\n<div class=\"image-inline caption e1fvabeq0 css-19sk4h4 ea9pn0s0\" data-qa=\"Component-Container\">\n<figure class=\"image-inline caption ea9pn0s1 css-1qeofuq e1gf69pb0\" data-qa=\"ArticleImage-ArticleImageContainer\">\n<div data-qa=\"ArticleImage-handleRenderImage-ImageContainer\" class=\"css-0 e1gf69pb3\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Anita Tso stands among porcelain pieces at Yuet Tung China Works, a porcelain factory in Hong Kong.
