It is often said that Hong Kong does not have an autumn season. This year, October arrived with sweltering heat, and temperatures continued to linger above 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) in early November. But with a cold front sweeping through the city this week, it finally feels like autumn is here.<\/p>\n
As the weather cools, it could be the perfect time to visit an exhibition that allows some quiet introspection. Or maybe the cold makes you want to discover delicious, warming food items. If you simply want to see a new film, we have the perfect recommendation.<\/p>\n
Here are five things to do in Hong Kong this weekend.<\/p>\n
1. Yip Kai-chun x Peng Chau Cinema<\/h3>\n

For Hong Kong artist Yip Kai-chun, who has lived on Peng Chau<\/span> island for more than eight years, the ferry is more than a vessel \u2013 taking it is a daily act of connection that bridges the island with the city.<\/div>\n
\u201cHow to Draw a Line Across the Sea?\u201d is a solo exhibition by Yip currently running at the Peng Chau Cinema until December 21.<\/p>\n
In his exhibition, which is open for visitors from Thursdays to Sundays, Yip contemplates the boundaries between geography and memory through his collection of videos, photographs, sound and light installations, and found-object work.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is one of several recent projects reviving the Peng Chau Cinema. Opened in the 1970s, the cinema was closed for more than 40 years until local groups began working to stage markets, screenings and exhibitions \u2013 now including Yip\u2019s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
