In a Facebook post the next day, Syddyq\u2019s wife Eyzra Nadyrra said that her husband had left her and their three young daughters \u201cfar too soon\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI still can\u2019t believe you are gone,\u201d she said. \u201cThank you for loving us deeply, for being the best husband and father. You\u2019ll always live in our hearts, and I promise to stay strong for our girls, just like you would have wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n
The police said that the 31-year-old car driver involved in the accident was arrested for driving without reasonable consideration and causing death.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram post, Eyzra\u2019s sister described Syddyq as the sole breadwinner of his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are doing our best to be there for her and the girls, to help them get through this painful and challenging period.<\/p>\n
Dies 3 days before birthday\u00a0<\/h2>\n
In an interview with Berita Harian on Tuesday (Nov 18), Eyzra said that her husband had died three days before his birthday.<\/p>\n
She described the day of the accident as \u201cnormal\u201d, as they sent their children to school before having breakfast together.<\/p>\n
At around 10.30am, she received a call from Syddyq\u2019s phone, which she said was an unusual timing to get a call from him.<\/p>\n
A stranger told her that Syddyq was taken to hospital after the accident.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy whole body was shaking, I couldn’t believe it,\u201d said Eyzra.<\/p>\n
When her family arrived at the hospital, they were told that Syddyq was in the emergency room.<\/p>\n
\u201cI prayed for him, asking God to protect him. But after 30 minutes, the hospital told us that they couldn\u2019t save him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t get to say goodbye.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said that two days before the accident, the family celebrated Syddyq\u2019s birthday early by cutting a cake at their grandparents\u2019 home.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo one thought that it would be our last celebration with him,\u201d said Eyzra.<\/p>\n
