Korean actress Ahn Eun-jin is closing out a busy 2025 with her latest leading role this month in the romantic comedy Dynamite Kiss<\/em> alongside Jang Ki-yong.<\/p>\n

She kicked off the year by briefly returning to the Hospital Playlist<\/em><\/span> role that made her famous, and a few months ago, she also appeared in the big-budget Netflix production Genie, Make a Wish<\/em><\/span>, alongside Bae Suzy and Kim Woo-bin.<\/div>\n

A contemporary of many of the leading stars of today\u2019s K-drama industry, Ahn, now 34, took a little longer than several of her peers to get recognised.<\/p>\n

She was a student of the Korea National University of Arts, where her classmates included Kim Go-eun<\/span>, Park So-dam, Lim Ji-yeon<\/span> and Lee Sang-yi, among many others.<\/div>\n

Why we love her<\/h3>\n

Ahn\u2019s career began on the stage in 2012, and she continued to appear in plays for several more years, although she was not confident in her abilities at first. But she persevered, gaining the strength and confidence to develop her craft.<\/p>\n

She received positive notices for her role in the 2015 musical Infinite Energy<\/em>, which ran until early 2016.<\/p>\n

Ahn\u2019s television career began two years later, after signing with an agency, and she immediately began to book roles. In 2019, she appeared in six series, including season one of the first Netflix Korea hit, Kingdom<\/em> \u2013 she would return for season two the following year.<\/p>\n

Ahn is also a major baseball fan. She supports the SSG Landers in Incheon and threw the ceremonial pitch for one of their games in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
