A spokesperson for SKH told ST earlier that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/courts-crime\/doctor-accused-of-two-counts-of-voyeurism-has-resigned-sengkang-general-hospital?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">he had resigned from his job<\/p>\n<p><\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Deputy Prosecutor Xu Sijia asked for a jail term of eight to 10 weeks for Soh, as he had breached the relationship of trust he had with the victim. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cThe accused also took steps to evade detection, as <!-- -->he<!-- --> deleted the recording of the victim after she noticed that he was filming her,\u201d DPP Xu told the court. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Soh\u2019s relationship with the victim was redacted in court documents. She cannot be identified due to a gag order to protect her identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">On April 14, 2024, the woman was showering in the common toilet beside the kitchen in an apartment, when <!-- -->Soh held his phone<!-- --> up to the window connecting the kitchen and the toilet to film her. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The victim noticed the phone near the window and shouted, prompting Soh to exit the kitchen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">She later requested CCTV footage to identify the person who filmed her showering. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">By then, Soh had deleted the video from his phone.
