SINGAPORE \u2013 A 23-year-old man was arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons following a slashing incident involving a 68-year-old man, who later died.<\/p>\n
In response to queries from The Straits Times, the police said they received a call for help at 5000C Marine Parade Road at about 12.45pm on Nov 13.<\/p>\n

Police said that a 68-year-old man was found injured at the scene. He was then taken in an unconscious state to hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old man was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons, the police said, adding that two penknives were seized.<\/p>\n
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for assistance at about 1.10pm, and that it took a person to Changi General Hospital.<\/p>\n
It is unclear how the two men are related.<\/p>\n
According to Stomp, when its reporter arrived at the scene at around 4pm that day, the 13th floor of the building was cordoned off. A police officer was stationed on the 12th floor, and another on the 14th floor.<\/p>\n
Residents on the 14th floor said that they did not hear any commotion, Stomp reported.<\/p>\n
