{"id":11265,"date":"2025-11-13T20:25:40","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T12:25:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=11265"},"modified":"2025-11-13T20:25:40","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T12:25:40","slug":"man-exits-car-to-confront-merc-driver-after-losing-parking-lot-at-heartbeatbedok","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=11265","title":{"rendered":"Man exits car to confront Merc driver after losing parking lot at Heartbeat@Bedok"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">A simple parking search turned into a tense moment at Heartbeat@Bedok on Nov 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Stomper <span><b>Francis<\/b><\/span> alerted Stomp to the incident and shared footage from his in-car camera taken at about 11.08am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">From the video, a black Mercedes can be seen reversing into a parking lot that a silver car appeared to be waiting for.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The driver of the silver car then gets out and gestures at the Mercedes driver, seemingly frustrated, before eventually driving away.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"video-container my-lg w-[620px] h-[349px]\" src=\"https:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/4802324446001\/default_default\/index.html?videoId=6384979537112\" title=\"#NoTapis\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Francis described the incident as an example of people &#8220;fighting over a parking lot&#8221;, but said it&#8217;s best not to let such situations escalate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;As members of society, it&#8217;s our responsibility to correct bad behaviour &#8211; but without being violent or damaging anyone&#8217;s property and be willing to back off if the situation escalates,&#8221; he shared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">He added that getting into a confrontation over parking is rarely worth the trouble.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;Just find another space,&#8221; he said. &#8220;What else am I going to do? Have the other person&#8217;s car towed?<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;I may mutter some naughty words under my breath, but that&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;Then again, I very seldom wait for a space, unless the person leaving already has their car in reverse. I don&#8217;t stop and sit and hold up others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;It&#8217;s not worth it, they are being very rude, but it&#8217;s not worth a confrontation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;Take a deep breath and find another parking spot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8220;The world is full of idiots and this is just another one of them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary pt-md text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">&#8221; You might say you&#8217;re sick and tired of people like this taking advantage of you or others. You might even want to escalate the situation.
