{"id":10935,"date":"2025-11-12T16:22:34","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T08:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=10935"},"modified":"2025-11-12T16:22:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T08:22:34","slug":"one-of-two-suspects-in-chin-swee-murder-taken-to-site-under-police-escort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=10935","title":{"rendered":"One of two suspects in Chin Swee murder taken to site under police escort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 A suspect in the murder of a 56-year-old man in Chin Swee Road on Nov 8 was taken to the crime scene on the morning of Nov 12.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Poh Choon Kiat \u2013 one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/courts-crime\/two-men-charged-with-murder-over-chin-swee-road-fight-that-left-one-dead?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">two suspects charged<\/p>\n<p><\/a> with the murder of Mr Jaganthan Arunasalam \u2013 arrived at the site at about 9.30am escorted by police officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Poh, 59, and Tan Boon Hui, 58, were alleged to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/man-56-dead-after-fight-at-chin-swee-road-three-men-arrested?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">have killed Mr Jaganthan<\/p>\n<p><\/a>, who died in hospital, after a fight on the 17th floor of Block 51 Chin Swee Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Tan was not taken to the crime scene as he is hospitalised.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">At the location, investigating officers questioned Poh, who was wearing hand and leg restraints and taken to a unit on the 19th floor and a corridor on the 17th floor.
