With the new Vines card, Clash Royale now has 125 cards in total. These cards are split into Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion types. You don’t get them all right away, though. You start with just eight cards to make your first deck. As players win matches and progress through the arenas, they slowly unlock more cards to build stronger decks.
Arena 12 is one of the most exciting arenas in Clash Royale since it brings a bunch of powerful new cards. But with so many new options, it can get a bit tricky to build a balanced deck on your own. So to make things easier for you, we’ve put together some of the most balanced Arena 12 decks. Let’s check them out.
New Cards in Clash Royale’s Arena 12
Arena 12 gives players access to nine new cards, including two win conditions and one powerful spell. Here’s a quick look at what fans will unlock here:
Graveyard
Graveyard costs five elixir and is a pretty strong win condition. It works best when you use it with a tank so that the Skeletons can connect to the enemy tower safely. Players can also pair it with Freeze for more tower damage.
Royal Ghost
Royal Ghost is surprisingly strong for just three elixir. He stays invisible until he attacks, which means he usually strikes first. His evolution was recently added to the game too, which makes him even stronger.
Royal Ghost doesn’t interact with other invisible cards like another Royal Ghost, Suspicious Bush, or a hidden Tesla.
Firecracker
Firecracker costs three elixir and is honestly one of the most annoying cards in the game, especially if your opponent doesn’t have Arrows to deal with it. She fits well in many decks and also has a strong evolution that makes her even harder to handle.
Earthquake
Earthquake is a three-elixir spell that mainly targets buildings while also slowing down enemy troops. It’s perfect for Hog Rider decks because it clears buildings that get in your way. But, keep in mind it doesn’t do much damage to regular troops.
Wall Breakers
Wall Breakers are pretty cheap and crazy effective. They are one of the cheapest win conditions in the game. For just two elixir, they can deal massive damage if even one hits the tower. They fit really well in fast cycle decks and often force your opponent to waste extra elixir trying to stop them.
Goblin Demolisher
Goblin Demolisher unlocks at Arena 12 and costs four elixir. It’s not as popular as other cards and mainly works in specific decks like Goblin Drill or Miner decks. Outside of that, it doesn’t see much use, with a pretty low usage rate of around 0.64%.
Ice Wizard
Ice Wizard is one of the best defensive cards out there. It only costs three elixir and slows down anything it hits, kind of like a mini Ice Spirit that keeps going. It can help you control big pushes along with cheap cards like Skeletons and Knight.
Phoenix
Phoenix is a four-elixir Legendary that hits both air and ground targets. It used to be pretty popular, but it’s not as common these days since the Baby Dragon evolution does a better job for the same cost. Still, if you time its rebirth right, it can be really annoying to deal with.
Electro Dragon
Electro Dragon costs five elixir and is part of the Epic category. It chains lightning between enemies, which makes it great for dealing with swarms or resetting Inferno units. You will mostly see it in Golem or PEKKA decks. It can still get the job done, but without its evolution, it won’t feel as powerful.

This is easily one of the most popular decks in the current meta. Everything here works around your win condition, Hog Rider.
For evolutions, Evo Cannon and Evo Firecracker are your best picks. You can also try Evo Valkyrie, but Evo Cannon usually fits the deck better.
The Firecracker helps a lot with support, and together with Hog Rider, it’s one of the best combos in the game. If your opponent drops a building to stop your Hog, you can use Earthquake to quickly deal with it.
The average elixir cost of this deck is 2.6.

This deck is similar to the classic Hog EQ deck. The main change is that it swaps Valkyrie for Mighty Miner.
For evolutions, you can go for Evo Tesla and Evo Firecracker.
Mighty Miner offers more control against heavy cards like PEKKA, Mega Knight, and Giant, and Evo Tesla can also defend pretty much everything. Other than that, the deck plays just like the standard Hog EQ version.
The average elixir cost of this deck is 2.8.

This is a balanced deck that covers all bases. The Balloon is your win condition, and Giant Skeleton helps you tank and control pushes.
For evolutions, you can go for Evo Skeleton Army and Evo Bats.
On defense, you’ve got Ice Wizard, Skeleton Army, and Bats. Inferno Dragon can completely melt tanks if your opponent doesn’t have a counter ready. For spells, this deck usually runs Freeze, but the new Vines spell is a great alternative because it costs less elixir and still freezes enemies for a bit.
The average elixir cost of this deck is 3.8.

This deck has gotten popular ever since the Witch got her evolution. Even after a few nerfs, she’s still strong in the right decks, and this is one of them.
For evolutions, you can go for Evo Witch and Evo Giant Snowball.
You have Guards, Minions, and Bowler to handle defense, while your Giant and Graveyard combo can absolutely destroy your opponent’s towers. The Giant Snowball pairs nicely with Graveyard too.
The average elixir cost of this deck is 3.9.
